Think how rapidly protections for animals would advance with regularly scheduled regional workshops! We constantly hear from advocates and groups that are eager to attend a workshop but haven’t the means to host one or travel across the country to one. So many individual activists and groups expend energy that does not win the laws they seek that the animals desperately need. Regularly scheduled regional workshops also would ensure timely accessibility to NIFAA’s training.

• Provide training workshops to groups that request them at little or no cost.

Potential workshop hosts must pay our travel expenses, a speaking fee and the cost
of producing the event. With your generous support, we can provide workshops to the many worthy groups across the US who request them but are unable to afford them.

Our highly praised book must be available to as many advocates as possible.

• Sell “GET POLITICAL…” on-line and at events at a much lower cost, making it affordable
to all advocates and groups.

• “GET POLITICAL…” needs the exposure that only bookstore chains guarantee. Chains pay too little per copy for NIFAA to cover its printing costs. Funding would allow NIFAA
to take this loss.

• “GET POLITICAL…” belongs in all college, university and public libraries. Funding
would allow us to provide discounted copies to these budget-stressed institutions
and advertise in library journals.

SPEAK AT NATIONAL CONFERENCES ON ANIMAL RIGHTS AND RESCUE

• NIFAA is often invited to present at major conferences. They rarely pay travel expenses,
so we must decline many of these opportunities—denying many activists and groups
our vital message.
